I am a PhD researcher in Environmental Economics and Law at Wageningen University & Research. My research examines how legal and economic instruments can strengthen wildlife trade regulation and biodiversity governance. In particular, I evaluate the intended and unintended effects of environmental policies using legal analysis and data-driven methods. My broader work explores illegal wildlife trade, environmental criminal justice, artificial intelligence for biodiversity conservation, and the integration of cultural and community perspectives into environmental governance.

My doctoral research at WUR is supervised by Dr. Andries Richter, Dr. Anna Lou Abatayo, and Prof. Nadia Bernaz.
